We would be delighted to invite you to our Culinary Academy Teacher Showcase at NKC Gravesend College on Wednesday 25th November, from 4.00pm to 5.00pm.
During the showcase, you will have the opportunity to:
- Experience our students’ hospitality first-hand as they welcome you with a drink, serve a tasting plate and sweet treats they have prepared, and share their dishes, course experiences and future aspirations with you.
- Learn more about the Culinary Academy at NKC Gravesend College and the opportunities available to learners
- Discover how studying catering and hospitality can help young people develop practical skills, confidence and employability
- See first-hand how our students learn within a realistic restaurant and industry-focused environment
- Gain a clearer understanding of the progression opportunities you can discuss with students interested in Professional Cookery and hospitality
- Meet members of the Culinary Academy team and ask questions about our programmes
- Strengthen links with the College so that we can work together to support young people considering their options after school
We will also showcase the work taking place within our training facilities and restaurant, giving you a real flavour of the experience students receive when they choose to study with us.
Whether you already have students interested in catering or simply want to understand more about the opportunities available within this exciting and diverse industry, we would love to welcome you.
